A lamp can look perfect on paper—voltage is right, wattage is spot on—and still completely fail you in production. Here’s the thing: in textile drying and curing, it’s all about the wavelength. If you pick the wrong emission curve, you’re asking for trouble. You’ll end up with fabric that’s scorched on the surface but still ice-cold in the middle. We take a look at how thick your material is and how fast your line is moving. Then, we match the IR emitter to the actual heat load you’re dealing with. No guessing.
Where things usually go wrong
Most hardware failures don’t happen in the middle of the lamp; they happen at the connection points. Whether you’re using R7s or Sk15 bases, that fit has to be tight. If it’s loose, you get arcing. It’s that simple. Then there’s the space issue. If you’ve crammed high-wattage tubes into a tiny housing, the “heat soak” will fry your electronics. You need a layout that breathes. High heat density is great for curing things fast, but it puts a massive strain on your cooling fans. If your airflow is weak, your lamps are just going to burn out. Period.
