We lean heavily on the R7s and Sk15 connector standards. Why? Because it means the lamp seats perfectly in the socket. No gaps, no arcing, no guesswork. We also match the wattage and voltage exactly. Here’s the thing: if the wattage is off by even 10%, you’re going to see it in your product. You’ll get those annoying “cold spots” in the bottle shoulder or uneven heating in the preform. Not a great look. The grit behind the glass We use heavy-wall quartz glass and halogen gas fills. This pushes shortwave infrared radiation straight into the PET material, which just means the heat penetrates faster. Some of our tubes even have a special coating to keep the energy focused on the bottle rather than wasting it by heating up the oven walls. But a quick heads-up. Those high-density 400V tubes getinsanely hot. If your oven vents are clogged or your cooling fans are on their last legs, these lamps will burn out way too soon.
